Travis Parker Band Bio
 Contact 323-219-5396
So you are wondering what to do this evening?
If you like the fiddle and Charlie Daniels Band,
Shania Twain, The Dixie Chicks, Dave Matthews Band,
John Cougar Mellencamp, Aerosmith, Hank Williams,
Patsy Cline, and maybe even some country-flavored
Outkast hip-fiddle-hop, then get a blanket, picnic
basket, friends and family together to your local
park this summer evening for a show from the
 Travis Parker Band.

 Travis fronts the band with
fiddle and vocals along with Katie Trickett on
vocals. Travis enjoys making fun country-rock
flavored music and recently played in the movie
soundtrack "Red Water" with Lou Diamond Phillips
and has acted in TV commercials w/ LL Cool J.
Travis and Katie both have many awards from the
California Country Music Association and when she
is not singing and writing songs and Katie plays
defensive end for the California Quake Football
Team who have home games at the Long Beach Veterans Stadium.

They are joined by the hottest players in Southern California
who are a list of characters themselves and include
Colin Cameron on bass who played on the movie "Jaws 2"
 and the "Barney Miller Show."

The band has a self-made CD titled "Original Live Clips"
which includes original and classic songs taken from
the band’s many live shows. Their summer schedule for
2004 includes concerts for the cities of Norwalk,
Lakewood, Perris, Huntington Beach, La Palma,
 Redondo Beach, Westminster, and Placentia.

In the past years the band has played concerts
for The American Cancer Society, La Canada Flintridge,
 Orange, Claremont, Huntington Beach, Whittier,
Lakewood, La Habra, Fullerton 4th of July Show,
Paramount, Los Alamitos, Paramont 9/11 Tribute,
 Fullerton Farmer's Market,
Whittier Cultural Arts Foundation, The Nixon Library,
the Costa Mesa Senior Center, and the
Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy w/ Rob Reiner.
"I just like to go wherever the fiddle takes me"
says Travis, "and I hope to do a good bit of
jamming and make sure everyone has a good time
under the early evening stars." Oh?...and one
other thing...the band doesn’t have an official
name. Travis says with a grin "People know the
band by different names in different places,
but the songs remain the same...and not having
a name has even started to get a sort of
 recognition of its own"
 Please check out the
Band’s website and enjoy their music everywhere
 with friends and family.
